I have a fun-loving and organic approach to my wedding, engagement, and family photography. I am utterly inspired by love and human connection, and the way in which individuals communicate through body language, words, and movement. Pausing moments of endearment forever is what gives me great joy and fulfillment as a photographer.

My husband and I currently live in Poway, California with our 2.5 year old daughter Hazel and our spunky pup Zoe. I’m a homebody through and through, but we love being outdoors, staying active, and we’re always planning our next big adventure. I owe my desire to get to know my coupes on a more intimate level to my background in psychology. Taking the time to learn about who you are as an individual, the magic you bring out in one another, the energy you want surrounding you on your wedding day, and the emotion you hope to feel, inspires me to orchestrate and capture moments that are especially meaningful to you. Feeling more like a long-lost friend than a vendor is always my goal.

Photography isn’t just a passion of mine — it’s a way in which I experience life — visually and intricately detailed. Some of my most cherished memories are those in which I can remember the stunning backdrop, intricate detail, or human expression of a scene. Tall, sunlit aspen trees encompassing us in June Lake as we vacationed each summer as kids, the smell of fresh brewed coffee at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters where I met my husband (and where he proposed 10 months later), or looking into the endearing, aging eyes of my grandmother as we catch up each Christmas. And while I thoroughly enjoy capturing the love and joys of my own life, I am just as passionate about capturing yours. I wholeheartedly believe you can feel love through a photograph, and glimpses of connection and beauty that others may overlook, I strive to capture.

I am a true believer in the power of kindness, and that all anyone is searching for in life, is purpose, love, and human connection. If nothing else, I pray my photographs display that truth.
